CrownNovel Privacy Policy

CrownNovel ("the app," "we," "us") is a fiction reading app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Email address — when you create an account with email/password or Google Sign-In
- User IDs — an account identifier created for you, including if you use the app as a guest
- Purchase history — records of coin packs you buy through Google Play or the App Store
- App activity — actions in the app such as books opened, chapters unlocked, and reading progress
- Device or other IDs — identifiers used to keep the app functioning and secure
We do NOT collect your name, location, contacts, photos, messages, or any health or financial account information. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play or Apple — we never see or store your card details.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use this information only for:
- App functionality — signing you in, syncing your library and coin balance across sessions
- Account management — creating, maintaining, and deleting your account
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising. CrownNovel contains no ads.
WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (authentication and database). All data is encrypted in transit.
YOUR CHOICES
- You can use CrownNovel as a guest without providing an email address
- You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by following the steps at crownnovel.com/delete-account
CHILDREN
CrownNovel is intended for users aged 18 and over.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
